The Identiifcation And Layout Of The Strategic Emerging Industires Based On Knowledge Discovery

Financial crisis in 2008 and the emergence of the debt crisis in Europe have made aserious impact on low-end export manufacturings. It’s urgent to upgrade China’s industrialstructure and stimulate domestic demand by developing the strategic emerging industries.Industry’s picking by local conditions can avoid the same industry was selected or investmentin resources was duplicated. The elements of capital, technology and human resources can beintegrated by structured industrial layout to improve resource utilization efficiency andtechnological innovation. Knowledge discovery (KDD) in data mining not only can identifypotential emerging industries, but also layout industries objectively. Therefore, knowledgediscovery in industry’s recognition and layout plays an important role in the development ofthe strategic emerging industries.In this paper, we analyze the background of finacial crisis and the twelfth five-yearguideline. The theoretical and practical significance of the topics has been given, as well asthe paper technology. We have done much research on the basic theory both of the strategicemerging industries and KDD, it will guide the indicator and technology’s selection. The maincontent is divided into identification level and layout level. In the identification level, wedesigned a set of the strategic emerging industries index system based on industrial differenceand techno-economic paradigm, after that we established a strategic emerging industriesmultidimensional quantitative association rules model. In the second level, in the backgroundof techno-economic paradigm, according to the evolution of industrial clusters, we firstdeduced the importance of the development from the strategic emerging industry alliance toindustrial cluster , then we established a clustering layout mode based on analysis of theclustering method. After the establishment of KDD model, we did an empirical analysis of theYangtze River Delta region’s manufacturing sectors. Finally, we proposed some policyrecommendations combined with the development status of the strategic emerging industries.This thesis has taken KDD as an innovation, and has provided a scientific method forboth selection and layout of the region’s strategic emerging industries. Those can guide peopleselect and layout emerging industries scientifictly, which avoid the similar industry layout andwasting resources.
