Development Evaluation And Analysis On Driving Factors Of Strategic Emerging Industries In Zhejiang Province

Strategic emerging industry,with the characteristics of strategicguidance,innovation and sustainable development,represents the future development direction of science and technology and industry,can grow into leading industry or mainstay industry,and has great and far-reaching influence on social and economic development.In today's international economic situation,the development of strategic emerging industry is not only an inevitable trend,but also the need of economic transformation in Zhejiang Province.Since the 12th Five-Year,Zhejiang's strategic emerging industry has been developing fast.The scale of energy saving and environmental protection 'industry and new material industry is large,and they have become the main force of the industry.Information technology and networking industry and new energy industry develop rapidly.Developing strategic emerging industries can enhance Zhejiang's economic strength,and form a new economic growth point.The 13th Five-Year is an important period.In order to effectively promote the development of strategic emerging industry in Zhejiang Province,we must correctly know the situation of the development and make clear the driving factors of the development of strategic emerging industry.Firstly,this paper analyzes the overall situation of strategic emerging industry,and compares the development of nine strategic emerging industries in Zhejiang Province through the means of descriptive statistics.Secondly,on the basis of the connotation of strategic emerging industry,this paper constructs evaluation index system,using principal component analysis and factor analysis means to evaluate the development of Zhejiang's nine strategic emerging industries.The research results show that among Zhejiang's nine strategic emerging industries,information technology and networking industry develops best,followed by energy-saving and environmental protection industry and high-end equipment manufacturing industry;new energy industry and new energy vehicles develop fast,especially the new energy industry,which reached the leading level of the industry in 2015;bio industry,new material industry and nuclear power related industries are in good conditions;the development of marine emerging industry is poor.Thirdly,the influence of driving factors on the development of strategic emerging industries in Zhejiang Province was quantitatively analyzed by estimating Panel Data Model.The study finds that the development of strategic emerging industries in Zhejiang Province is mainly affected by the R&D personnel,R&D expenditures,tax incentives and development of other industries.Talent strength,scientific and technological strength,government support and industry support all have positive influence on the development of strategic emerging industries in Zhejiang Province,among which,the industry foundation has the biggest impact,followed by government support,talent strength and technological strength.The impacts of physical capital investment and openness on the development of strategic emerging industries in Zhejiang Province are not significant.Finally,based on the analysis of the conclusions,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the development of strategic emerging industries in Zhejiang Province.
