Study On Forest Insurance Demands Of Policy In Collective Forest Regions In China

Forest insurance can enhance the ability to resist the risk of forestry production for farmers effectively, so there is great significance to develop the forest insurance. The author used the primary survey data, from Jiangxi、Fujian、Hunan and Zhejiang Province. The author used both optimal scaling regression, logistic regression and the method of multiple correspondence analysis to analyze the factors affecting the forest insurance demands. The results show that:whether they have participated in forest insurance and the level of understanding the insurance and claims have a significant effect on forest insurance demands.Then the author analyzed the effects of other factors on the forest insurance demands through the method of multiple correspondence analysis. Then the author analyzed the impact of government subsidies on the forest insurance demands through the method of Chi-square test. And the author calculated the willingness to pay of the farmer for the forest insurance under the different levels of insurance amount in different areas and analyzed effective demand potential of the forest insurance. Finally, the author put forward some feasibility proposals targeted to improve forest insurance demands.
