The Research On Regional Innovation Capacity And Spatial Convergence Of Henan Provience

The regional innovation is the endogenous motivation of regional economic development. With the deepening of the global nature of the political and economic activities, regional innovation activities have more and more obvious regional interactive, character Henan Province is located in the Central Plains, which is the country’s food production base, while have less areas for commercial run., therefore, we need to enhance regional innovation capacity in the limited land to create higher output value and achieve better results. Before many researchers do a lot of research on these, but a few of analyze the regional innovation capacity in the view of space Therefore, my paper analyze the regional innovation capability through the point of space to Henan Province.In this study, entropy weight method was calculated on the regional innovation capacity of18cities in Henan Province in2010, and uses the spatial econometric theory to do empirical analysis. We can conclude from the estimate of18Cities of Henan Province that regional innovation ability of Zhengzhou, Luoyang is far higher than other regions, and the differences in regional innovation capability is large. Regional innovation capacity in our province shows a significant imbalance. As the endogenous driving force of economic development, the innovative capacity of regional imbalances is clearly not conducive to the province’s overall economic development. Hence, there is a need to finish the catching to advanced areas’ technological innovation ability.Then, based on the theory of the economics of the existing space and a combination of traditional theory and new empirical research methods, this paper analyze the upgrading ability of regional innovation in our province from the macro view. In this study, this paper uses the specialized spatial econometric software to estimate the autocorrelation of the province’s regional innovation. The results show that the regional innovation capacity of our province having regional characteristics and agglomeration characteristics. Furthermore, through the the empirical analysis of regional convergence innovation capacity, we find that no matter the space (?) convergence or space β convergence, the regional innovation capacity of our province having the space convergence trend, while through the convergence of space β condition, this paper find the important factor influencing the convergence of regional innovation capacity in our province.In order to enhance the regional innovation capacity of backward areas in our province as soon as possibly, and then narrow the gap between the areas with strong innovation ability, the papers give some recommendations, including strengthen inter-regional technical cooperation, establish the dominant position of enterprises in technological innovation, and accelerate the building of innovation person, and so on.
