The phase of the industrialization process of the socio‐economic development is identified according to the results. Secondly, it analyzes the industrial structure within the industrial sector in Jilin Province, finishing summary of the characteristics of industrial structure and providing ideas for the coordinated development of industrialization and urbanization. The third section discusses the industrialization efficiency in Jilin Province upon the open and reform policy from the equilibrium analysis and non‐equilibrium analysis to explore further the type of industrialization in Jilin Province, the path to industrialization and the impact from resources factor in Jilin Province, offering the basis of empirical analysis for the next step of the industrialized development countermeasures.Fourthly, Chapter4works out:(1) review of the process of urbanization in Jilin Province;(2) to investigate the present development status of small, middle and big towns in Jilin Province;(3) the structural deviation of urbanization in Jilin Province.Fifthly, Chapter5describes the constraints, policies and suggestions of the coordinated development of industrialization and urbanization in Jilin Province. On the constraints, the following three aspects are described:(1) labor migration and human capital development;(2) abnormal development of heavy industry;(3) the constraints in the development of agricultural industrialization, over‐development of heavy industry is the major constraint. In accordance with the analysis of Chapter3and4, the author makes some policies and suggestions in order that the industrialization and urbanization in Jilin Province will be carried out smoothly. Finally, the thesis comes to a conclusion. After an overall analysis based on the previous chapters, a conclusion of the coordination development of industrialization and urbanization in Jilin Province is reached in the end.
