Research On The Problems Of China’s Food Safety And Countermeasures

In recent years, China’s food safety are getting more and more serious, the foodindustry have lost trust to consumers, food safety problems already affected people’shealth and life safety seriously, affected the whole society to the healthy developmentof the economy in our country, and seriously damaged our country’s international goodimage, also made the unstable factors. Aimed at the present situation and the existingproblems in food safety, to explore the food security problem’s reason, and put forwardto the corresponding solutions’ countermeasures, using system economics skills tosolve the existing in reality of food security, guarantee our food security better. Thiswould not only help to China’s food industry, which is beneficial to the healthydevelopment of the people’s health and life of harmonious society construction, butalso to our country economy development and promote steady long-term health to theinternational image of China is of far-reaching significance. The fierce increasing ofour country’s food safety accidents fully reflects the insufficient supervision of ourgovernment department for food safety problems, and food production and processingenterprises’ moral integrity, the deficiency of social responsibility are not enough. Byusing the theory with practicing and china-foreign comparative research methods,listing the food safety accidents related data and charts, sum up experience in foodsecurity incident, the developed countries for reference of food safety work experienceof our country, supervision of food safety theory in China, and puts forward concreteanalysis for the supervision of food safety advice.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part lists in China’s recent years ofbig events happened in food safety side, and puts forward the necessity of food safetyproblems and significance, then the food safety production is divided into productionprocessing, distribution and consumption, and analyses the three links of each section of food safety situation and existing problems, and pointed out the existing problemsof China’s various aspects are harmful. The second part writes the causes of China’sfood safety problems analysis, from the economic perspective and system of foodproduction and processing enterprises perspective and a government regulator behaviorcauses discussed in this paper. The third part lists to the United States, the EuropeanUnion, Japan, as a representative of the major developed countries and economies offood safety supervision work, through the general situation of the experience forreference and analysis, proposed can be suitable for China’s national conditions ofregulatory Suggestions. The last part summary the first to the three part for the presentsituation, problems and causes, summed up the experience of our country, puts forwardsome corresponding solve the food safety problems of tentative suggestions.Based on the analysis of the reason of the problem in food safety problem, thispaper has put forward the following countermeasures: Firstly, government departmentsshould perfect our country’s food safety supervision system and related laws andregulations, improve the food industry market access system, guarantee food safetyfrom the main body of the professional and moral integrity level. Secondly, byestablishing scientific food safety information exchange platform, reduce theinformation asymmetry between the regulators, producers and consumers. Finally, thegovernment should increase of food processing enterprise in the field of food safetytechnical support, to the appropriate financial subsidies, and strengthen the foodprocessing enterprise society responsibility and moral integrity construction.
