With China’s rapid economic development, commercial banks in China go public successively after introducing joint stock system. More regional commercial banks appear. Competition in banking is increasingly fierce. On these occasions, staff of banks are facing more working stress, which leads to mental and physical exhaustion, bad job performances and negative emotions, affecting benefits and long term development of the banks directly and negatively.In this article, the writer analyses and clears up the opinions on stress management home and abroad, on the topic of the causes, resources, measuring, results and coping strategies of stress. With the help of structural questionnaires, by data analysis, the article gives a description on working pressure of the staff of the Bank. According to the research and investigation of the report, too much working stress has caused negative affects on mental and physical health of the employees and their job performances. It is obvious that the stress coping and management strategies of the Bank are insufficient.According to the survey and the three-factor theory, the article shows the strategies on environmental factors, organizational factors and personal factors in stress management. Working with the HRM and the management of the Bank, a4-month practical check has been carried out, with obvious results.The article researches and investigates the current situations of working stress of the employees of the Bank, providing the basis to further develop stress management strategies. With the practical check in the Bank, the strategies prove to be effective to both the Bank and the staff.The article shows ways to relieve and ease stress of the employees, increasing their sense of happiness and sense of identity, which has certain reference value to HRM in the Bank.
