Study On The Rural Residents’ Income Gap In Different Areas Of Gansu Province

With the development of society and economy, and the rapid development strategy of the west, the economy of Gansu province has gained development rapidly. Due to the difference between the geographical location and education level, the rural residents’ income growth in Gansu province is relatively slow, the rural residents’ income gap in a continuous gently rising trend.At first, this thesis analysis comprehensively the rural residents’ income and rural residents’ income gap of Gansu province, choosing the Gini coefficient, the extreme difference, the rate of the extreme difference and tell index; Then, this thesis analysis the factors influencing the rural residents’ income of Gansu province in the principal component analysis and regression analysis, that get the main factors affecting the income gap of residents in Gansu province rural; Finally, using the ARIMA model of the time series forecast the rural residents’ income level and the income gap of Gansu province in the near future.Through study of Gini coefficient, find the Gini coefficient of income gap among rural residents is basically between0.2to0.4.General speaking, the income gap in a reasonable range. Through the research of tell index, the income gap of residents between different regions is the main cause which cause the income gap of residents. Through the analysis of the rural residents’ income of Gansu province find that the income of family is the main source of income, but the proportion of family’ income has been to reduce, its role of expanding the income gap is weakened gradually; the proportion of the total property income has been more stable, its role of expanding the income gap is not much changed;Although, the proportion of metastatic income and salary income is small, the proportion is rising, and then becoming gradually the main factors which expand the income gap between the rural residents’ income, the role of expanding the income gap becoming more and more obvious. Through the income gap of rural residents in Gansu province is forecasted, it shows that the trend of income gap between rural residents in Gansu province is rising gradually, and will exceed the "cordon" of0.4. Finally, according to the results of the analysis, the gap between the incomes of rural residents will be reduced though strengthening the support of government’s financial and policy, speeding up agricultural structure adjustment between the backward areas and transferring the rural labor, increasing the education level and poor areas to developing characteristic industrial in poor areas.
