Residents’ Income Gap Between Urban And Rural Areas In Gansu Province

The widening income gap, especially the farmers’ income is slow,the urban and rural residents’ income gap in the residents’ income gap isparticularly prominent. Widening not only hinder the development ofeconomy, urban and rural residents income gap may also affect thepolitical stability and social development. In recent years, urban and ruralresidents in Gansu province also showed a trend of widening income gap.This article through studies the income gap of urban and rural residents inGansu province, find out the factors that affect the income of urban andrural residents in Gansu province.In this paper, since the reform and opening up, the basic situation ofGansu province, using descriptive statistical analysis method, throughanalyzing multivariate linear regression method, etc. At various stages ofthe characteristics of the formation of the reason is analyzed, and theresidents’ income gap between urban and rural areas of Gansu provincechanges comparing with the national trend of urban and rural residents,Combining the specific situation of the Gansu province analysis theseveral factors influencing the gap between urban and rural areas inGansu province.
