With the rapid development of global economy, people are facing the more and more serious environmental problems, among which the greenhouse effect has been the most important problem. The greenhouse effect causes global warming, precipi-tation redistribution, glaciers melting, sea level rising and so on, which not only harm the balance of the ecosystem, but also influence the human daily life. All countries are exploring the control policies to reduce the carbon emissions, such as carbon tax and carbon trading. As a developing country, our country has not taken larger range reduc-tion measures. But if reduction policies ran countrywide, domestic enterprises should prepare in advance to significantly reduce carbon emissions without significantly in-creasing cost, through which enterprises could win in the industry competition. In this paper, we stand on the position of enterprises and respectively discuss the economic order quantity model with the condition of carbon tax and the condition of carbon tax and carbon emission policies. We respectively provide a condition under which it is possible to reduce emissions by modifying order quantities. Through this paper, we provide some advises to enterprises when they faced carbon emission poli-cies.
