Abusive supervision refers to subordinates’ perceptions of the extent to whichsupervisors engage in the sustained display of hostile verbal and nonverbal behaviors,excluding physical contact. Based on studying those existing theory, I took the empiricalresearch in this paper: a test about the mediation role of interactional justice between abusivesupervision and counterproductive behavior.The purposes of this dissertation were to investigate the contents of abusive supervisionas well as to study the consequences of abusive supervision in china. For these purposes,some standard research method, such as literature review and survey were used in thisresearch. The main conclusions are the following:Firstly, the content of abusive supervision consisted of two factors which included mockbelittle and neglect hiding. The reliability and validity of abusive supervision questionnairewere highly enough.Secondly, the research indicated that abusive supervision was negatively correlated withinteractional justice, abusive supervision was positively correlated with counterproductivebehavior, and interactional justice was negatively correlated with counterproductive behavior.Thirdly, the research discussed the mediate effects of counterproductive behavior andtwo dimensions of abusive supervision. The conclusion was that interactional justice was thepartly mediation.Fourthly, the research discussed the moderate effects of Machiavellianism betweenabusive supervision and interactional justice.
