Along with the constant development of modern network technology which with the Internet as the core and global economic integration, e-commerce emerges as the times require. A virtual market relying on Internet is being formed, which is also an emerging market with features such as rapid development, huge potential, globalization, digitization, Macross and so on. As the most suitable for online trading industry, Tourism industry is experiencing the impact of e-commerce in all aspects. As one of the important pillar of national economy, if the tourism industry wants to maintain continuously, fast and healthy development, it is necessary to change the traditional mode of production, using information technology to promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure. At present, the tourism e-commerce, which with the network as the core, has become one of the main driving force for the world’s tourism business activities, and it is contributing to the comprehensive fundamental changes of structure, operation and management in various kinds of tourism organizations or enterprises.This paper sets out from the theory of the tourism e-commerce development, analyses the meaning, characteristics, comments and influence factors of the development of tourism e-commerce, the effect of tourism e-commerce on the development of tourism. It sets Hubei Province as an example, using econometric model to get empirical analysis between tourism e-commerce and tourism economic growth. Finally, according to the results, it sums up some corresponding enlightenments in the development of tourism e-commerce.The innovations of this paper include:on the basis of growth pattern research in other areas, it use the relevant econometric analysis and the regression analysis to study relationship between the level of tourism e-business development and tourism industry. It is not only easy the quantification analysis, but also make up the limitations of generality and the static nature of the general research of development of e-commerce and economic growth. The combination of Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, will extend the research perspective and train of thought of e-commerce on the development of the industry.Through analysis and research, this paper draws the following conclusions:First, the main factors which influence tourism e-commerce development include social needs, informatization construction, product characteristics and the development of the information technology etc. Tourism e-commerce affect the development of traditional tourism industry in promotion of production, improving of management, changes in consumption and improvement of trade, show up in aspects of enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises, driving the e-commerce service industry development, optimizing the industrial structure, and promoting the sustainable development of tourism industry.Second, according to the result of relevant econometric analysis and multivariate linear regression analysis, the tourism e-commerce development has made a certain impact on tourism economic growth. However, there is a lag effect with its impact, pending further development.
