Space structure is an organized and implied spatial patterns in the natural, social operation process and output. Tourism spatial structure refers to tourism economy objects’space degree of gathering and the gathered state in the space interaction, representing tourism activity’s space attribute and interaction. Tourism spatial structure is the travel shadow in the geographical space, and an important indicator of local tourism development situation. Since being put forward, tourism spatial structure theory has got great progress because of its importance to tourism planning and development, market positioning and design of tourism destination and to the tourism development. Especially after entry to the21th century, people’s tour need is increasing and tourism industry’s competition is becoming more and more intense with the transfer of tourism consumption structure and upgrade of tourism style. Optimizing tourism industry’s layout, upgrading the tourism competitiveness and realizing tourism spatial structure innovation are the focus of governmental administrations and the academy. As a big province, Anhui Province has great development power, but the fact that the south is stronger than the north is a big obstacle which confines the balance of overall tourism development and realization of the strong tourism province. Therefore, optimizing tourism spatial structure and minimizing economic gap between areas become the most urgent problems needed to be resolved in the tourism work of Anhui Province.In related research literatures on tourism spatial structure, there has less studies about the tourism central city and tourism economical circle from the perspective of research content; while from the perspective of research angle, most literature based on the single aspect or dimension. This paper takes Anhui tourism spatial structure research as its theme, discussing Anhui tourism spatial structure from two perspective of tourism centrality and tourism economic connection. First, by checking the relevant information, the paper analyzes basic characteristics of the tourism resources in Anhui and spatial distribution difference in its tourism scenic spots, and points out that there is main natural resources in southern Anhui,while the north Anhui has an advantage at cultural tourism resources, and the central Anhui is stronger both in nature and culture. Seeing from space distribution difference in traveling scenic areas, structure of Anhui province’s space tourism scenic spots presents3big features:the south Anhui is stronger than north Anhui in tourism scenic areas’ranking; development speed of traveling scenic areas in the central Anhui is fast; the south is slow, and the north is much slower; the follow-up scenic spots to develop in south Anhui is more than the north Anhui. Through the SPSS software with the factor analysis method, this paper measures the central degree of each city in Anhui and17cities in Anhui province are classified into four grades in central degree. Tourism central city of level1is Hefei, level2is Huangshan, Wuhu, Chizhou and Anqing, level3is Bengbu, Xuancheng, Huainan, Lu’an, Chuzhou, Fuyang and Maanshan, and level4is Bozhou, Chaohu, Huaibei and Tongling.After measuring the longitudinal centrality, the author tries to work out each city’s tourism economical connection from horizontal angle through the gravity model. There are four gradient level in Anhui province, and ranking of the tourism economical connection from high to low distribution is as follows:the first gradient is Hefei, Chizhou, Anqing and Wuhu; the second gradient is Chahu, Ma Anshan, Huangshan, Lu’an, Xuancheng and Tongling; the third gradient is Bengbu, Huainan, Chuzhou, Fuyang, Huaibei, and Bozhou. Tourism economic connection quantity presents a trend of small two heads and one big middle part in each city of Anhui province. After analyzing each city’s tourism travel central degree and economic connection, this paper constructs Anhui four big economic circles with the combination of tourism central degree and tourism economic connection, as well as the regional economy and geography. These four circles are as follows:big Hefei tourism economic circle, including Hefei, Lu’an, Chaohu, Chuzhou, Huainan; Wanjiang urban tourism economic belt, including Wuhu, Anqing, Ma Anshan, Tongling; Wannan international tourism economic circle, including Huangshan. Chizhou, Xuancheng; and the big Wanbei tourism economic circle, including Bengbu, Fuyang, Huaibei, Suzhou, Bozhou. At the last, this paper put forward the corresponding advice and measures on tourism spatial structure in Anhui province.
