Study Of Regional Tourism Spatial Structure Basing On Touirsm Central City System

Basing on relatively perfect functions and facilities, tourist central cities have greatinfluence on location and layout of tourism functions and development of regional tourism.They have more and more importance to development of tourism. The tourism industry ofShandong Peninsula has a great development owning to better location, policy support andgood foundation in recent years. It plays an importance role in the tourism industry of thewhole Shandong Province. In addition,<Tourism Development Planning of ShandongPeninsula City Group>,<Tourism Cooperation Declaration of Shandong Peninsula CityGroup>,<Tourism Cooperation Agreement of Shandong Peninsula (8+2) City Group> havebeen made by relative official departments to promote the sustainable development ofpeninsula tourism. So,10cities of Shandong Peninsula were chose to be the object of study inthis paper. The paper studied the location and layout about the scope of jurisdiction of10cities, basing on the tourism central city system research, to make some innovation in thetraditional tourism planning idea which depends on tourism resources and market factorThe paper, firstly, studies the current situation of peninsula10cities’ tourismdevelopment. After that, following the research method of the tourism central city systemincluding hierarchical structure, spatial structure and function structure three parts, the paperuses both qualitative and quantitative study method to try to establish the evaluation system ofthe tourism central city. The paper also uses various mathematical models to study thetourism central city system of Shandong Peninsula, and plans the tourism spatial structuredepending on the above result. The main results and conclusions are as follows:1、Establishing the tourism central city system of Shandong Peninsula; calculating thetourism economic contact degree and membership grade among the main cities, and gettingthe conclusion that the tourism central city spatial layout is even in general, but Yantai Cityand Weihai City have more regional level tourism central city; calculating the tourismspecialized level of Peninsula’ cities, analyzing the function of the main city.2、Based on the result of above1, the paper establishes complete tourism spatial structure,including two first level points, eight second level points, six third level points; four tourismdevelopment axis---landscape saints tourism development axle, ji-qing tourism developmentaxle, The Yellow Sea tourism development axle, The Bohai Sea tourism development axle;four areas--landscape saints tourism function area, coast and marine sports tourism function area, Yantai-Weihai tourism function area and Weifang-Dongying-Zibo tourism functionarea.
