As an earliest birthplace of cocoon and silk industry, Jinzhai yields much in this trade. Jinzhai also has been known as the productive base rich in experience on mulberry cultivation, sericulture, filature, silk weaving and processing. It have a certain influence across the province,even the country, had a record of34consecutive years ranked first in Anhui province silk yields, Jinzhai county silk industry development in1995reached its peak. After,due to the influence of the unbalanced between demand and supply and the impact of world financial turmoil, cocoon and silk industry in Jinzhai fell in to its low ebb that the total area of the mulberry field, cocoon output, silk output and the volume of export turned into a big recession, farmers enthusiasm is not high. Due to the special status of Jinzhai’silk production in the country’s economic development, it has become a big concern of governments and specialists in this trade that what measures should be taken to vitalize this industry.This article, firstly, taking into consideration the development of cocoon and silk industry and the status in the development of economy in Jinzhai, analyzes the present condition and the restricting factors of this industry by using the research findings. And according to the chrysalis silk industry of its own characteristics and chrysalis silk industrialization develops research results, combined with the actual situation of Jinzhai county. I come to the conclusion that this industrialization asks for accelerated cultivation of the cocoon and silk market, quickened reform of the system of cocoon and silk industry. Then, through the development of cocoon and silk industry in Huoshan county industrialization brings success and Jinzhai County township" Hong Huai sericulture professional cooperatives " take the road of industrialization of success, confirm only take industrialization development road, ability implementation Jinzhai county silk industry revitalize, remodeling brilliant history.Referring to history and reality, I can analyzes the problems in cocoon and silk industry and solutions as well by using scientific theories and methods. A conclusion could be drawn through the research into theory and reality:industrialization is the only way of developing cocoon and silk industry in Jinzhai, And puts forward six suggestions:(a)straighten development mechanism, make deepen reform;(b)cultivate bibcock enterprise, enhance development power;(c)accelerate silkworm base construction, enhance the development base;(d)accelerate the promotion of science and technology, enhance the development potential;(e) increase policy to give aid to this industry, accelerate the development;(f) strengthen the development, organization and leadership.
