It is exceptionally important for Xiangshan Park (an imperial park) to improve its business model to strengthen its competitiveness among intense market competition nowadays."The Three Hills and Five Parks" represent the top achievement in China’s classical garden art. As the predecessor of Xiangshan Park, Jingyi Park is the only large imperial park known for its natural hills and forests landscape. As a traditionally famous garden, Xiangshan Park has become the economic, cultural and ecological center of the Xiangshan Park area in Beijing. It is a natural forest scenic area standing nearest to downtown Beijing. Xiangshan Park, based on the relics of the Qing Dynasty, is an imperial garden featuring natural forest. A lot of researches on the culture of Fragrance Xiangshan Park (like The Temple of Azure Clouds and Shuangqing Villa) have been made. However, the overall research on the tourist economy of Xiangshan Park hasn’t unfolded yet. On the basis of interviewing the research staff of the park, questionaries, and the related data in libraries, this essay has made an all-round investigation on the conditions of the tourist resources of Xiangshan Park, the current business model, the cuisine, the recreation,etc. On the basis of this investigation, the essay has combined the investigation materials with related theories on tourism in Xiangshan Park and the available research fruits on tourist economy, tourist marketing, political economics,as well as the political and economic conditions in Xiangshan Park to conduct this research. Through investigating the seasonal conditions of tourism in Xiangshan Park, the essay tries to find out the existing problems in the cuisine and recreation industries in the slack and busy seasons, analyze the causes hindering the further development of the tourist industry of Xiangshan Park, and put forward the measures and advices on these issues accordingly.The previous researches on the tourism research has not spread, the Xiangshan Park tourism economy research is a supplement of the Fragrant Hill tourism. Xiangshan Beijing tourism is an important part of the tourism industry, this article through to the Xiangshan tourism season operations, catering services, culture and entertainment services and other aspects of the research, analysis and limit its further development due to its management, put forward to improve measure and proposal. Conducive to the prosperity of Beijing’s tourism industry. Xiangshan-Park is a Qing Dynasty relics mainly, mountain features the Royal garden. Through analyzing the tourism research are presented to improve its season economy, catering, entertainment and cultural services operating status measures.
