Since the reform and opening up, as the representative of the entity economy, manufacturing industry rise quickly and play a more and more important role in theaspect of promoting national economy developing. China is the world’s first bigmanufacturing country, but manufacturing industry is weak and mainly by low priceadvantage in the international market competition. With costs soaring of domestic labor, land, energy and resource, the comparative advantages of manufacturing industry isbeing alleviated. At present, our country has initially formed many manufacturingclusters area, but mainly focus on the clusters on low-end manufacturing and low end ofmanufacturing industry link.In this paper, the author employed eco-evolution theory to study the related issuesabout manufacturing industry cluster. First, we defined and combed the main conceptsabout manufacturing cluster and the industry cluster theory and then gave a detailedintroduction and analysis of ecological evolutionary theory with its principles and thesystem dynamics theory, which is the main basis for this research. Secondly, theinfluence factors, elements and the ecological characteristics and patterns of regionalmanufacturing clusters were investigated, and a further research was given on theevolution of the manufacturing industry cluster. Thirdly, we made an analog analysis ofthe manufacturing industry cluster development and ecological evolution. Drawing onthe thinking of system analysis and the theory of system dynamics, the paper tried tobuild a dynamic model of the manufacturing industry cluster development in terms oftalent, technology, capital and social environment and other factors. It was concludedthat in the whole manufacturing industry cluster system the various elements formed thedifferent feedback loop through the different operating mechanism to influence thedevelopment of the cluster. At the same time, the existence of some interaction between each circuit had maintained the operation and stability of the system. Finally, we appliedthe logistic curve model combined with the specific regions of the Chongqingmanufacturing clusters to do the empirical research, which analyzed the developmentstatus and issues. The results show that the Chongqing manufacturing industry cluster isstill in the formative stages, there was a serious imbalance development between thelow-end manufacturing cluster and the advanced, high-end manufacturing cluster, andon this basis policy recommendations was presented in order to promote sustainabledevelopment of the manufacturing cluster of the Chongqing.
