But at the same time in enjoy rural tourism to bring people greatly content, wecannot ignore the sustainable development of rural tourism, and must consider to ruraltourism resources development and utilization of whether beyond the environment,economy and society can bear the range. Therefore, we must construct the rural touristenvironmental bearing capacity model, which is the important tool to evaluate andjudge the rural tourism development rationality and suitability.This article continues to combine theoretical and empirical research. First of all,the article expounds the concepts of rural tourism, at the same time, discusses thedomestic and foreign tourist environmental bearing capacity on this article, anddefines the concept of rural tourist environmental bearing capacity and quantitativemethods. Second, put forward of the theoretical basis for the rural touristenvironmental bearing capacity index model from three aspects of the sustainabledevelopment theory, environmental economics theory and system science theory.Third, adopt the theoretical analysis method, the frequency statistics and expertconsultation method, design the reasonable rural tourist environmental bearingcapacity index system, and use AHP to confirm the various indexes weights, followthe steps to measure the comprehensive carrying capacity and study the rural tourismenvironment bearing index. Fourth, through the evaluation model, the article does theempirical research from the Collect Data on Longyan city. System analysis its ruraltourism environment resources, and quantify its environmental bearing capacity,explain the present utilization of the bearing capacity in Longyan city. Through anempirical research that in overall performance the rural tourist environmental bearingcapacity of Longyan city is weak, it has the great potential in the sustainabledevelopment, environment, economic and social support also can accommodate largercarrying room. Through the measures such as resources protection, consciousness guiding, perfect facilities and marketing, we can achieve the effective use of the ruraltourist environmental bearing capacity in Longyan city.
