Research On Mechanism Of Self-Regulation In Chinese Electric Power Industry

At present, self-regulation of electric power industry in China is still in an initial stage of development in the theoretical study and practical operation. The pattern of macroeconomic regulation of the government, external regulation of regulatory bodies and industry self-regulation in the electric power industry is gradually formed and improved. Try to study the principle of self-regulation in the electric power industry, to construct a scientific and rational management mechanism of industry self-regulation. It is great significant to regulate the behaviors of power corporations effectively and the order of electricity market; to protect security and stability of national electric power and even the energy. In this paper, the study methods of literature and case analysis are adapted. The inevitability of industry self-regulation in electric power industry is demonstrated. On the basis of studying self-management status in Chinese electric power industry, Summarized the current problems. It described the basic components of the electricity power industry self-regulation mechanism including the electric power industry association self-regulation mechanism and power corporation self-regulation mechanism. Then point out that the perfect industry self-regulatory mechanism, effective self-disciplinary mechanism and the necessary relief mechanism can make sure the electric power industry self-regulation implement effectively. We identify the unresolved issues by investigating the self-regulation status of electric power industry in China. We also propose some policy recommendations about how to improve the self-regulation mechanism of electric power industry in China. This paper tries to explore a research route of self-regulation mechanism of electric power industry in China. Promoting the self-management of the electric power industry should be led by the electric power industry association. Providing a reference to promote and improve the self-regulation of electric power industry. To an extent, we also give some advices about reform of electric power system and the construction of electricity market system.
