A Study On Planning And Designing Of Urban Catering Industrial Clusters In Guangzhou City

All the courtesy Chinese people know today come from the ceremony of food servingand eating. Chinese food culture not only has a long history but is profound and extensive. Asthe open and reform policy began practiced34years ago, domestic catering industry hasdeveloped gradually and titles such as Chinese Cuisine City and Chinese Cuisine Townbegin to emerge. Coming together with the rapid progression of urbanization, features ofurban food culture begin to gain more and more public attention. Catering business,as asignificant indicator of a city’s social, cultural, economic characteristics, becomes one of thetools cities use to accentuate their culture distinction. There comes the urban cateringindustrial cluster, which is meant to have far-reaching impact on urban space morphology andstructure.
