With the development of the global economy, project team has been widely used in allkinds of enterprise, especially in the project development on the new product and gets goodresults. Therefore, the performance appraisal of the project team became the key to businessmanagement and human resource management. Currently, majority of enterprises are facingthe problem is that how to execute the team performance appraisal by fair andeffective way, while help to improve individual performance, team performance evencorporate performance.Xinli Corporation is a toy company for new product development, due to theneeds of multiple departments involved in the product development process, so they formed across-functional project team, the team members to complete the project and then returned totheir only able to the department. Therefore, for this dynamic project team status, how toassess the project team and team members are particularly important, while is greatsignificance to the Xinli Corporation’s core competitiveness.By studying related to team performance appraisal literature and theoretical knowledgein domestic and international, constructed a diagnostic model for Xinli corporation projectteam appraisal which based on KPI, compared to Xinli Corporation project team performanceappraisal system for diagnosis. Diagnosticanalysis includes: the consistency of the projectteam and corporate strategic objectives, team performance and individual performancemeasure comprehensive evaluation, index weight distribution reasonable evaluationand application for the result. Based on these problems, analysis the root cause and countermeasures characteristics of Xinli Corporation project team in the final recommendations forimprovement.
