Research On Industry Relevancy Influence Of Printing Industry In Shanghai

With the development of economy and the deepening industrial division, printing industry has entered a rapid development period. Printing industry has a close relationship with each industry and it plays an important part in the economy. When we formulate development planning and industrial policies for printing industry, we should connect characteristics of the resource and the market, consider the relevance among different industries, and plan for the whole economy in order to guide coordinated development of the printing industry and national economy.Input-output analysis is the basic method of the industrial relevancy analysis. It is the method which uses the input-output model to get the proportion relationship between "input" and "output" of the industries. Input-output analysis is applied widely, while many theoretical and practical problems have relationship with it.This paper begins with the definition of the printing industry, introduces the developing advantages and challenges of printing industry in Shanghai, and analyses the industrial relevancy between printing industry and other industries.Through the qualitative and quantitative analysis method, this paper thoroughly studies the relationship of Shanghai’s printing industry and other industries, and on the basis of quantitatively analysis, it points out the correlation effect of upstream and downstream industries of Shanghai’s printing industry is very obvious. But there are still some problems in printing industry, such as the single supply chain, weak effect in the national economy, and low industrial added value.In addition, the paper argues that Shanghai printing industry has a strong backward relevancy with upstream industries, such as the paper-making industry and chemical industry; that Shanghai printing industry has a strong forward relevancy with the downstream industries, such as the education industry, public management and social organization industry and financial insurance industry. The printing industry is the final demanding one with high intermediate input and low intermediate demand, and it’s also the industry with strong radiation and weak restriction.At last, According to the industry’s "1025" prospect, the paper analyses the limiting factors to develop the printing industry and points out the way to overcome the problems:optimizing industrial structure to improve printing core competitiveness; make full use of the advantages of the industrial cluster, pushing cultural and creative industries into the printing industry. Then, it can make printing industry to transform from a manufacturing economy to a producer service industry, in order to own a prosperous future.
