Study On Industry Characteristics And Economic Contribution For Water Way Transport Industry Of Liaoning Province

There is a mutual dependence and promotion relationship between water way transport industry and inner industries of primary, secondary and tertiary industry. Water way transport industry plays an essential role in Liaoning Province and even the whole northeast social economy.The paper employs input-output analysis to study the industry characteristics and economic contribution of water way transport industry of Liaoning Province.Firstly, a theory frame of industry characteristics and economic contribution for water way transport industry is constructed and theory basis and offering a scientific calculation model for demonstration analysis of water way transport industry of Liaoning Province is established.Secondly, an analysis to the actuality of water way transport industry of Liaoning Province is given. And then, I analyze the industry characteristics and economic contribution of water way transport industry of Liaoning Province from different angles and aspects by fixed calculation tool and method.Following conclusions can be gained via interrelated analysis above:(1) From the input structure, the direct and total input coefficient between the water way transport industry and the secondary industry are relatively high which indicate that the development of water way transport industry will give a biggest direct pull of the secondary industry, then the tertiary industry(except water way transport industry), and lowestly the primary industry.(2) From the distribution structure, the products of Liaoning water way transport industry are mainly used in the secondary industry.
