The Research On China’s Intellectual Property Rights Protection Effect The Quality Of FDI

With the globalization of economy and the development of knowledge economy,knowledge has become a national enterprise participates in the market competitionand the weapons and important driving force. To a large extent, enterprise andnational competition is just intellectual property rights of the competition,multinational companies in foreign investment can have the protection of intellectualproperty rights, and in foreign investment decisions must attach great importance tothe host country investment environment of the intellectual property rights protection.30years of reform and opening up, a lot of introducing the foreign capital in China,but the quality of the introduction of FDI is not high. Thus this paper protection ofintellectual property rights to influence the quality of FDI for empirical research.Based on Chinese and foreign scholars about intellectual property protection andthe relevant research on the quality of FDI, first of intellectual property protectionand the quality of FDI related theories for consolidation, and puts forward themeasures of quality FDI index system. Second, using panel data co-integrationanalysis and regression analysis to the panel data to an empirical analysis of theChina’s intellectual property rights protection effect the quality of FDI, the researchresult indicates that: intellectual property protection and measuring the quality FDIfive indexes exist co-integration relationship, it shows that intellectual propertyprotection significant influence the quality FDI in the long term; By means of theregression analysis found that intellectual property protection to raise the level ofpromoting the improvement of the quality of FDI. Intellectual property protection toraise the level of the enterprise to promote FDI increase in the average size oflocalization, FDI production degree rise, FDI to industry, FDI increase contributionsto the development of enterprise technology content of the enterprise, FDI promotiondevelopment level increased, especially the industrial development of the contributionof FDI, FDI enterprise technology content and research the role of FDI levels bettereffect, in general, and intellectual property protection level, reduce the foreign capitalenterprise technology spillover speed, effectively guarantee the interests of theforeign capital enterprise, so as to promote the improvement of the quality of theforeign investment, in the long run is beneficial to the development of China’seconomy; The host country economic development level, industry structure level, the human capital level, labor, wages, domestic enterprise production technology andinnovation level, infrastructure construction and the level of opening up factors affectFDI quality level.
