Under the background of reducing the carbon dioxide emissions all over theworld, China has become the largest emitter of carbon dioxide, and how to control andreduce carbon emissions is the hot issue for international countries. In order toavailably control and decrease carbon emissions, and realize the target of carbonemissions reductions, this thesis takes an empirical analysis based on panel data of30provinces from2000to2009.At first, it carries an analysis to the current condition ofChina’s carbon emissions; Then, it carries on Moran I examine and analyze somescatter plot charts; Further, it takes an empirical analysis on the relationship amongcarbon emissions, economic growth, industrial structure, total population, energyprices and energy utilization efficiency based on Spatial Models. At last, according tothe empirical results, it puts forward some relevant policy suggestions. The results which analyze the current situation of China’s carbon emissions showthat China’s carbon emissions have a growing trend, but growth is approximate pour u-shapedcurve trend; At the same time, carbon emissions exist obvious difference in different provinces:carbon emissions and the per capita carbon emissions of the East are higher than these of the West, but carbon emissions intensity of the Midwest is higher than that of the east.Moran I test and the scatter plot charts’ analysis results show that: carbonemissions in China exist obvious spatial dependence and spatial distribution, meanwhile, carbon emissions in different provinces also exist space effectsThe empirical results of carbon emissions and its influence factors based onspatial models show that: economic growth, total population, industrial structure andenergy utilization efficiency play significant and positive roles in decreasing carbonemissions, but energy price has a limited impact on carbon emissions. This thesis based on the empirical results puts forward relevant policySuggestions: progressing in technology, controlling the population, optimizingindustrial structure and energy structure will be effective measures to reduce carbonemissions. At the same time, developing and perfecting relevant laws and regulationsof each province, establishing regional cooperation mechanisms in China are alsoeffective policy Suggestions to cut carbon emissions...
