As growing of industry agglomeration and specialization,China has achievedscaled economy, but also reached the confine of resource and environment, In theproduction process energy-related CO2emissions are increasing, the carbon feature ofChina’s economy is very prominent. In recent years carbon emissions has become thefocus of academic research, the domestic and foreign scholars mainly study how thetotal population, economic scale, energy structure and energy intensity affect carbonemissions, and the literature studying industrial structure on the impact of carbonemissions is little. The paper is mainly theoretical analysis of industrial structure on the impact ofcarbon emissions, and based on the analysis of China’s industrial structure and carbonemissions, respectively from the regional dimension and industry dimensions makes aempirical test of China’s industrial structure on the impact of carbon emissions usingthe STIRPAT modle. The empirical analysis of regional dimension showed that theimprove of coordination degree in the internal structure of our industry can beeffective in promoting carbon emission intensity decreased, the coordination degree inthe internal structure of Midwest industry is far lower than the east, making thecorresponding of industrial structure coefficient and carbon intensity lessrelevance, the propotion of productive services rises in tertiary industry will increasecarbon intensity, hign energy efficiency will reduce carbon intensity. The empiricalanalysis of industry dimension showed that labor-intensive industry and a higher levelof nationalization of industry will increase the intensity of carbon emissions in thehigh-carbon manufacturing, and energy efficiency can effectively curb carbonemissions; the improvement of labor-intensive and industrial expansion can makecarbon emissions intensity increased in the low-carbon manufacturing to offset thecarbon emissions intensity reduction brought by the increase of energy efficiency. Finally, according to the empirical analysis, the paper proposed to build the industrialstructure of China’s low-carbon system under the constraint of emissionreduction.mainly to develop low-carbon agriculture, transform from the traditionalhigh-carbon industries to low-carbon, optimize the structure of service industry etc,and proposed policies and measures to build low-carbon industrial system.
