A Research On The Economic And Trade Cooperation Between The Chang-Ji-Tu Pilot Area And The Russia

This paper focuses on Tumen River Area Development and Opening Project, which puts forward six proposals on "the International Regional Cooperation of The Tumen River ". According to achievements of previous research, I hope to combine with the real case to make in-depth analysis and research. Then this paper put forward the feasibility proposals of promoting the economic and trade cooperation.This paper described the analysis of necessity and feasibility of trade and economic cooperation between The Changchun-Jilin-Tumen Pilot Area and the Russia, and the cooperation the geopolitical conditions with resources complementary conditions. And then based on the priority condition, it took the analysis of the present situation. According to the main contents of bilateral cooperation, including Trade Cooperation, International Channel Construction, Industrial Cooperation, Tourism and Labor Service Cooperation, Cultural and Others’Cooperation.Using the analysis of economic and trade cooperation, I found some main problems at present. First, the scale of bilateral trade was small, and total trade volume had fluctuations, and import and export trade had imbalance, and trade commodity structure was single. Second, the international channel mechanism was insufficient, and lack of the foundation construction cooperation. Third, the construction of Sino-Russian industrial park was insufficient, and the core of industry development was not obvious. Fourth, level of tourism development was low, and the cross-border tourism products were rare, lack of travel agency’s core force and tourism infrastructure of Russian tourists. Fourth, the level of tourism development was low, and tourism product development was insufficient etc. Fifth, the channel of labor export to the Far East was not smooth.This paper concludes with suggestions to promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation, which inter-governmental cooperation has an irreplaceable role. Therefore it will need to establish the bilateral government coordination mechanism and set up the international economic and trade cooperation platform. According to the market principle, it will need to improve the regional investment environment steady, and accelerate the interaction of inter-regional trade and investment, and push forward economical cooperation with the Far East, promoting tourism and labor service cooperation, and continue to develop bilateral cooperation.
