The vegetables security are widely concerned these years. Producion chain is the key chain of determining the quality and safety of vegetables, and to improve the safety behavior of the producers lever is an important measure to improve the quality of vegetables. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss how to effectively encourage and regulate producers’ safety behavior. The producers’safety behavior is affected by multiple factors, the most directly one is the market. Behavior of market quality and safety of producers bound by the intensity of incentives is not enough because of the market imperfections. So decomposition and measure the various factors of the market quality and safety production behavior, targeted improved vegetable market mechanisms are important to improving the level of quality and safety of vegetables.The research used the vegetables’safety production as an example, and has six parts. The first is introduction, which described the research background, significance, content and basic ideas.The second part is literature review about the reasons of the quality and safety problems, the management strategies and the farmers’ quality and safety behavior.The third part is the theoretical analysis of the relationship between the production behavior and market factors. This chapter first outlines the basic theory and described the theoretical framework of the research. In the theoretical framework, through the establishment of mathematical models to empirical analysis the relationship between producing behavior and market factors, and clarified the specific market factor that affect the farmers’behavior through mathematical derivation and logic analysis. It clarified the measures of each factor, built the reassurance system, and the quantitative analysis model.The fourth chapter is data acquisition and basic statistical analysis. It described the data, the basic situation of the research, and the basic statistical analysis.The fifth chapter is the statistical analysis about the relationship between the farmers’ production behavior and market factors. The result showed that the average unit avenue,the market testing have a very significant promoting to farmers’ quality and safety behavior; the close of trading, the dependence level of particular trading partners, and subjective evaluation of the price also have a obvious promotion; the traceability, penalties and sales channels have a certain degree of relevance, but it has a obvious promotion if any of the variables considered separantely.The sixth part is conclusions and suggestions, the research shows that the current standardization of the vegetable cultivation is low, the market economic promotion, direct binding and indirect binding all can effectively improve the quality and safety level. The research suggested we should stabilized the vegetable price, improved the market testing and penalty, standard the management to vegetable intermediaries especially dealers, and standard the trading behavior, further improved the vegetable industry in terms of improving the market mechanism, and the farmers’ safety and quality level.
