Before the reform and opening up, the most popular mode of production of eggs in China is small scale farming during such nature economic condition. The location of production is impacted by the producing policy which peasants made to supply themselves and the purchase policy by state quotas made by government. Into the eighties and nineties of the twentieth century, the industry of egg production in China is becoming more commercial, developing into much larger scale, shows a very obvious industry agglomeration. In this process, location of the production changes from natural into economical, and the egg industry gradually centralized to the areas where are more advantageous in both production and markets, and the industry concentration phenomenon is more evident. In the course of China’s egg industry development process, how about the status of its concentration? What affect the specific industry cluster? This study tries to answer these questions. In all, this paper can be divided into four parts:The first part includes chapters1and2. This section describes the research background, problem, significance, purpose and contents, and the overall framework of the article. Subsequently, it showed the definition of some concepts in this study, and reviewed related literatures. The second part is Chapter3, this part analyze the basic situation of egg industry first, then analyze the course of development of the industry and the state of the art. Chapter4analyzes the situation of eggs’ industrial clustering. We got the analysis results that the industry of eggs in China showed obvious agglomeration, especially the district of Huanghai&Huaihai and northern China, by weighting for selected measures of industrial agglomeration which is very necessary for measuring the degree of industrial agglomeration. The third part is the main part of the contents, including the fourth and fifth chapter, we analyses the factors basing on existing theories and characteristics of the industry, which will affect the status of eggs industrial agglomeration factors. We classified the factors as following:resource conditions, traffic conditions, market conditions, organizational conditions, policies, conditions and other aspects. Then try to do some quantitative graphic analysis to our eggs Industrial agglomeration impact of the regional differences, and select panel data model from30provinces and cities, date from1998to2009to do an empirical study of industrial clustering of eggs and get the influencing factors answers.Chapter6is the fourth part, which is the conclusion of the whole thesis and gives some recommendations for egg industrial structure and regional industrial development.
