Research Based On The Influence Of Industrial Agglomeration On Total Factor Productivity Of China's Manufacturing Industry

At present,although China is already the "largest manufacturing country",the manufacturing industry still faces the dilemma of being large but not strong and lacking core competitiveness.In the context of the global economy's deep adjustment,China's manufacturing industry is facing a double pinch of high-end manufacturing industry reflow and low-end manufacturing industry diversion,which encountered unprecedented difficulties and challenges.The solution lies in advancing the supply-side structural reform,rectifying the distortion of factor allocation,gathering the dominant industries,adapting to and being flexible based on demand,accurately grasping the direction of consumer demand,and continuously improving the quality of product supply.Through the innovation-driven,in-depth exploration of industrial innovation elements,in order to improve total factor productivity,promote high-quality economic development.This paper first sorts and summarizes the literature on the relationship between research on industrial agglomeration and total factor productivity,and then conducts a detailed analysis of China's manufacturing industry agglomeration status and manufacturing inter-provincial total factor productivity.The mechanism was systematically sorted out.Further use the CES production function,select China's manufacturing panel data,and conduct an empirical test on the impact of industrial agglomeration on the total factor productivity of manufacturing.The benchmark regression test shows that industrial agglomeration shows a significant positive promotion effect on the total factor productivity of China's manufacturing industry.Through regional heterogeneity test,it is found that there are regional differences.The effect of industrial agglomeration on the growth of total factor productivity in the east and west is significantly greater In the central region,the robustness test confirmed that the conclusion was reliable.Through the research,it is found that industrial agglomeration can promote the total factor productivity of manufacturing industry,and the technical effect is better than the resource allocation effect.Based on this,the Suggestions of this paper are to promote industrial agglomeration and integration,to drive high-quality industrial development through innovation,to give play to the advantages of location selection effect of industrial agglomeration,to tap the intellectual dividend of human capital,and to give full play to the spillover effect of infrastructure.In order to improve the total factor productivity,promote the high-quality development of China's manufacturing industry.
