With the coming of entire circulation times, the market value of listed companies, which can dynamically reflect market prices of listed companies, has been an important index to measure the overall strength of listed companies. The level of the market value of listed companies not only reflects the quality of listed companies operating capacity, the confidence that market gives to listed companies, but also relates to whether the goals, including the company’s shareholder value, the performance of Share Incentive, the maximizing efficient of financing and so on, will be achieved.First of all, this article systematically summaries the theories on market value management from value management studies to market value management research. On this basis, the necessity and feasibility of state-owned listed companies in Hunan Province are presented on. Through the theoretical analysis, not only the definition and goal of market value management but also macro and micro factors that affect market value are analyzed. The market value management content of listed companies, which consists of main business, investor relationship management, corporate governance and value operate, is studied.Secondly, the factors that impact market value management model of listed companies are analyzed. What’s more, the market value management model of state-owned listed companies in Hunan Province, which is made up of Share Incentive, State Stock increase or Reduction, equity integration and targeted placement, is established. Then the advantages and disadvantages of different management models are compared.Thirdly, on the basis of analyzing the status of listed companies and state-owned listed companies in Hunan Province, the present situation of market value management of state-owned listed companies in Hunan Province is assayed. Meanwhile, the basic process of market value management model of state-owned listed companies in Hunan Province, which is composed of value evaluation and environmental investigation, market value management model, strategic planning and implementation, performance evaluation, is determined.Finally, take a case for example. Some notes about market value management model of state-owned listed companies in Hunan Province, including Main body, operating program, advantages and disadvantages of each program, are illustrated.
