The Research On Project Cost Control Of Hunan Road And Bridge Construction Group

Project cost control play an important role in project management. There are many research results on project cost control, most of which are in the field of the establishment of cost control system, process improvement and specific operation methods, and these all do well in reinforcement of the project cost control. However, a phenomenon that the optimization of system and method still can’t change the status of the cost out of control is always existing. The reason is that when cost control is implemented, the Executive ability is not in place or inadequate. At present, the most important problem in project cost control of Hunan Road and Bridge Construction Group is that the powerless control makes the implementation powerless. Based on this, this paper takes the current status and problems in Hunan Road and Bridge Construction Group as a starting point and takes related theories as the basis, trying to find a solution to poor executive ability in project cost control.This essay has summarized two main reasons of powerless executive ability of project cost control in Hunan Road and Bridge Construction Group:(1) Lack of a complete project cost budget management system;(2) People management in cost control is not in place. For the first reason, combined with the specific circumstances of the company, the thesis has done research in the fields of preparation and implementation of project cost budget so as to provide recommendations on the budget guide and executive standards of the cost control implementation. For the second reason, this paper has proposed a suggestion that we make use of "people-oriented" humanistic management to enhance the executive ability of project cost control. When explaining full implementation of humanistic management, the paper has proposed suggestions for improvement in the fields of enhancing employees’awareness of cost, improving cost control evaluation system and improving employee incentive system. In particular, it focus on the cost awareness, assessment and incentives of the labor force in order to provide a valuable reference on how to strengthen the cost control executive ability of the main force-"peasant workers" in the construction. At the same time, I hope that this research on project cost control can help Hunan Road and Bridge Construction Group and other companies to resolve problems of poor executive ability to control project cost.
