The Study Of Enhancing Radical Innovation Abilities Based On Open Innovation

Radical innovation as the sally port of improving independent innovation is more and morebe taken seriously, but, with the development of knowledge economy, the product life cycle isbeing shorter and shorter, the updating of product becomes faster and faster, all of theses lead tothat restriction of traditional model of innovation to the radical innovation becomes more andmore obvious, in this case, we have to develop open innovation.The existing studies have shown that radical innovation ability is directly related to theability of absorptive ability and knowledge transformation ability which can be promoted bymore interchange of organization members and others. Undoubtedly, all of the aboverequirements can be realized by open innovation. Based on such an interaction, this paperdecomposes the radical innovation ability to five abilities, and focusing on the relationship ofradical innovation ability and open innovation and absorptive ability, analyzes the effect of theorganization absorptive capacity and knowledge transformation to radical innovation ability. Thisstudy can be used to guide the enterprise facing radical innovation dilemma, and so to theenterprise to improve the ability of self-dependent innovation. Through the research, we get thefollowing conclusions:First, I propose the system of radical innovation abilities and model of radical innovationprocess/ability on the study of the existing literature.Second, through the study on the influence of open innovation to the absorptive ability andknowledge transformation ability and so on, we get that open innovation can promote the radicalabilities.Third, most of our enterprise is not enough to open up, so that the Promotion of the openinnovation to the radical innovation abilities cann’t appear, so we must continue to deepen theopen innovation.
