The Research On Low-carbon Economy Development Of Erhai Lake Basin

At present,climate change has profoundly affected human’s living environment and economic and social development.People began to explore new development model to deal with climate problem. In this context the low-carbon economy come it being.The transformation to a low carbon economy has become a consensus among all countries in the world.Erhai lake basin is located in Dali bai autonomous prefecture in the west of Yunnan province.It undertakes the important ecosystem services and functions and plays an important role in the economic and social development of Dali.But it is very sensitive to changes in the outside world,so it puts forward higher request to the local economic development mode. And the surrounding areas of Erhai lake basin is in the period of rapid development of industrialization and urbanization. A great deal of energy and resources consumption will inevitably bring certain influence to environment. Therefore, Erhai lake basin to speed up the pace of economic transformation to a low-carbon economy development mode is very necessary.Under the guidance of view of scientific development, this paper based on the theory of the low-carbon economy, from the economy development status of Erhai lake basin, analysed the advantages,problems,opportunities and challenges of developing a low-carbon economy in Erhai lake basin.Finally,it puts forward some countermeasures of the transition to low carbon economy of Erhai lake basin.Although there are a lot of researches about developing the low-carbon economy at present.it is still lack of the literature of the plateau lakes region’s economic development from the perspective of the low-carbon economy.So this research has a good academic value and practical significance.
