Research On The Evaluation Of China’s Banana Industry Security And Its Maintenance Countermeasures

Along with the development of economic globalization and the increasing economic competition, the community from all walks of life pay more and more attention to the issue of industrial security, the banana industry security is one of them. In recent years, China’s banana industry security has suffered serious threats, mainly displays in:the industry development environment becomes complicated, the industrial competitiveness is in an inferior position, the ability of industrial technology innovation is still low. The issue of banana industry security has become an important factor that effect our country’s banana industry health and sustainable development. Thus, it is important to give reasonable evaluation on the situation of banana industry security, and more accurately to estimate the degree of China’s current banana industry security.This research aims to establish evaluation index system of China’s banana industry security, and estimates the degree of China’s banana industry security, concrete including six part contents:the first part is introduction, mainly summarizes this paper’s research background, purpose and meaning, content and framework, research methods and the novelty places of this paper; the second part is reviewed the related literature both domestic and foreign; the third part analyses research background, and constructs evaluation index system of banana industry security and the model; the fourth part makes assignment and analyses the evaluation results, which depends on the evaluation index system of banana industry security and the model that constructs in the third part; the fifth part makes overall evaluation of China’s banana industry security, which is based on the evaluation result, and aims at some insecurity factors existing in the banana industry, puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to maintain and improve China’s banana industry security; the sixth part summarizes this research, and discusses the research outlook of this field.The research use the method of combining the empirical and normative analysis to evaluate China’s banana industry security, obtains the major conclusions:First, according to the results that estimated by the industry security evaluation model, the evaluation value of the degree of China’s banana industry security is fell on the interval [45,65], its value is59.47, which showes that the degree of China’s banana industry security is in the basic security state. Second, in the three primary index, the evaluation value of industry external reliance extent up to82, followed by the industrial domestic environment,its evaluation value is71.4, and the evaluation value of industry international competitiveness is the lowest, its value is32.2. Third, the evaluation value of industry international competitiveness evaluation index is the lowest, mainly because industry international market share, industry trade competitiveness index, revealed comparative advantage index are in low level. In addition, although the evaluation value of industrial domestic environment is high, the evaluation value of agricultural labor force quality and agriculture input intensity in science and technology is in low level. Fourth, according to the evaluation results, our country still needs to take appropriate policies and measures, in order to maintain and improve China’s banana industry security, such as strengthen technology training, improve banana labor force quality; increase input intensity in science and technology of banana industry, tackle problems in key technologies, and so on.The research makes a beneficial supplement on the existing related literature, the innovation lies in:First of all, on the selection of research object, chooses the banana industry security, which the existing research is less, and combines with the existing research achievement about industry security field, to analyse and estimate the degree of China’s banana industry security. Secondly, on the basis of the original evaluation index system of industrial security, combines the specific situation of China’s banana industry, makes appropriate modification to the original evaluation index system, and in view of the characteristics of China’s banana industry to further define the second level evaluation index, in order that more comprehensive and accurate to estimate the degree of China’s banana industry security. Once more, on the basis of evaluation conclusion about the degree of China’s banana industry security, aims at some major problems existing in China’s banana industry, puts forward some relevant maintenance countermeasures, which have strong maneuverability, pertinence and practical applicability,thus it has certain practical value.
