China Iron And Steel Industry Safety Evaluation And Maintenance

As the development of the economic globalization, national industries in all countries are confronted with impacts coming from the international market, industrial security has become an important issue to these countries. In recent years, Chinese steel industry was developed rapidly, China has become the biggest producer and exporter of steel in the world. But there are still a lot of problems, for instance, the industrial distribution is unscientific, the industrial concentration is low, the dependence of resources on other countries is high, and so on. The security issue has become an important factor which affects the sound development of steel industry of China, so it is significant to evaluate and analyze the industrial security of steel industry of China scientifically and logically.Firstly, this paper introduces the research status of the industrial security theory and the index system of industrial security evaluation both in China and other countries. Then, on the basis of the index system for industrial security evaluation established by Professor Weida He, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the security of the steel industry of China and modifies some second level indexes of the system, so that to make it can evaluate the security degree of Chinese steel industry more objectively, scientifically and roundly.Then, by analyzing recent data and other materials, this paper evaluates each index of the security of Chinese steel industry, calculates and quantifies them with the model established by IMD and WEF, and the result of the security degree of Chinese steel industry is concluded according to these analyses and calculations. In the end, this paper makes some further analyses for those factors that are at low degree in the system, and some solutions about improvements are brought out according to it.
