As a renewable energy, Wind power generation is one of the most important part in our power system.It has developed rapidly in recent years, and will develop more extensively whether in engineering technology or manufacturing technology. In wind farm investment decision, project technical scheme must be scientific and can bring the greatest benefits; On the other hand, the project must be economically feasible, project financial evaluation method must be reasonable, index of evaluation must be scientific. That is to say, it is very important that design the best technical scheme to get the maximum power and adopt the most appropriate index for evaluation.The main factors influencing wind farm’s generating capacity are wind turbine selection, wind turbine layout and power reduction. In this paper,the main research method is useing Wasp software to calculate, combined with the actual case.The conclusion provides a clear direction for improvement in wind farm design and optimization. Study the shortages of irr and npv is using the mathematical derivation, combined actual case. The conclusion provide a solution for the shortages of Financial evaluation index. Improved from these aspects, Wind Farm’s investment decision making will be more scientific, more reasonable.
