Hohhot is the capital of Inner Mongolia, which provides for the development of convention and exhibition market favorable conditions. In recent years, rapid development of Hohhot’s exhibition market, especially China national commodities trade fair has developed into a national large-scale exhibition of Hohhot’s a huge economic stimulus. But, Hohhot exhibition market has started late and in a backward state than other countries, with rapid development of Hohhot’s exhibition industry must have a correct idea of the scientific position, policy support and a comprehensive marketing strategy.In this paper, marketing and brand promotion of the theory were used to analysis of the type of exhibition marketing strategy, combined with the actual situation of convention and exhibition market in Hohhot, detailed analysis of China national commodities trade fair, and put forward concrete measures, through the Hohhot exhibition market research, which aims to further improve China national commodities trade fair, thus promoting the comprehensive development of exhibition industry in Hohhot.
