Compare with positive extra-role behavior, negative extra-role behavior is a topic whichattracted the attention of scholars for over20years in the tradtion of foreign organizationalbehavior research. Actually, because of both positive and negative extra-role behavior wouldaffect the employ’s work performance together, it is very important for the practice of humanresource management. This article will focus on one kind of typically negative extra-rolebehavior, workplace deviant behavior, by studying the relationship between organizationalethical climate and workplace deviant behavior and using job satisfaction as intermediaryvariable. Through reading the past literatures, this paper gets a series of hypothesis and studymodel.In this paper, SPSS16.0statistical software was used to process and analyze the collectedsample data. The paper analyzed the profile of the sample by descriptive statistics analysis;used CITC analysis and factor analysis to examine the quality of the questionnaire;implemented correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the relationship betweenorganizational ethical climate and workplace deviant behavior and discuss the regulationeffect of job satisfaction in the process of organizational ethical climate and workplacedeviant behavior.Conclusions of this study are as follows: First of all, we found that organizationalethical climate and workplace deviant behavior exists a significant negative correlation. Thecompany-oriented of organizational climate has a significant negative impact on propertydeviance, while instrumentalism-oriented of organizational climate has a significant positiveimpact on property deviance, caring-oriented has a negative effect on production andrelational deviant behavior. There are significant negative impact of job satisfaction onworkplace deviant behavior, besides, extrinsic satisfaction play some intermediary role in therelationship between organizational ethical climate and workplace deviant behavior.At last, practical value of the study the main deficiencies and future researchrecommendations are discussed.
