Based On GH Automobile Company Incoming Logistics Optimization Research

GH is a company enterprise specialized in automotive design and manufacturing, whichestablished in1990s. Through10years of rolling development, the company established acomplete production system. By continuing to promote lean production, the company inenergy consumption and labor productivity reached domestic leading level, and was the firstin labor output per capita. However, due to limitations of traditional self delivery systems, thecompany and external suppliers were relatively independent, information and operationalcosts in the market was difficult to achieve shared. Inside and outside of each entity in thesupply chain controlled their own inventory, which was difficult to achieve supply chain ofunified management. All of theses making a lot of inventory in the supply chain, andmaterials integrated management level and service efficiency were low. By self review, thecompany took modern logistics model as an key project of the second enterprise business, andmade efforts to tap the third source of profit growth.Chapter I, the priorities and research purposes of this article were described fromanalyzing the present situation of domestic and foreign auto parts into factory by logistics.Chapter II, by comprehending the theory of logistics and supply chain management, thedemand characteristics of the morden logistics under the supply chain environment were fullyunderstood, which provided a solid theoretical basis for the study of system improvements ofGH into the plant business logistics.Chapters III and IV were the focus, taking modern logistics and supply chainmanagement theory as the guide, using survey data and mathematical models, based on GH’scurrent problems, how it established an efficient logistics system to enable the integration andcentralized control of information within the supply chain. The system included the followingaspects, as warehouse layout and inventory management, vehicle routing optimization forpicking up and delivery, packaging standardization, the cost of logistics stripping in partscosts, etc.The final chapter, a summary of the full text, the feelings and experiences of thisresearch put forward, and other issues to be explored were pointed out.Under the guidance of advanced logistics management theory, to optimizing thecompany’s logistics system into the plant for GH, practical solutions were found out toenhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
