Currently, the cities of the world are undergoing a profound spatial structure ofthe reorganization. Since the1980s, along with the restructuring of the worldeconomic pattern, the development of global economic integration, the evolution ofurban and regional entered an active period, the structural evolution and restructuringhas become the subject of worldwide research.This paper tries to analyze the evolution of urban spatial structure from theindustrial structure changes caused by industrial transfer.Firstly, through the literature review, collate summary of the metropolitanindustrial transfer as well as the theoretical model of urban spatial structure and itsevolution, to provide theoretical support for the study of urban spatial patterns. this isthe theoretical basis of the full text.Secondly, the main timing evolution of spatial structure of Guangzhou City,focusing on the development process and characteristics of Guangzhou’s spatialstructure, and summarizes the various stages of the Guangzhou City’s urban spatialstructure in chronological order, to elaborate on their characteristics, and tries todiscuss the agglomeration of population in different regions of the Guangzhou Cityfrom the scope of population.Then, it studies the transfer and evolution of Guangzhou City Industrial Areas indetails. From the chronological summary view it elaborates the characteristics of theindustrial structure and industrial spatial distribution of Guangzhou City at all stages.Finally, This paper summarizes the discipline of Guangzhou and world CitiesIndustrial Transfer and Development of Urban Space, and compares the differences.This paper tries to find something be used for reference to the China’s urbandevelopment: such as the discipline of the industrial structure evolution;the disciplineof industrial agglomeration, diffusion and transference of spatial area evolution.
