| Since the reform and opening-up policy is implemented, the economy ofour eastern region grow rapidly, it suppress the central and western regions atthe same time, formed the development pattern called center-periphery. However, due to the implementation of the policy of China Western Development, itmakes the central region face an awkward situation that the development levelof it is not as good as eastern region, while the growth speed is not as good aswestern region in recent years. With Rise of Central China Plan launched, howthe central region resolves the problem of connecting with the eastern industrialclusters, fostering industrial clusters and core cities, integrating the resources ofcentral region, promoting the spatial structural optimization of urbanagglomerations, forming urban agglomerations that with symbiotic multi-center,promoting the rationalization of the layout of industries and cities. All these arethe key issues that should be solved urgently with the current regional economicdevelopment situation. This paper is based on an existing literature review of the spatial structureof urban agglomerations and industrial clusters. It define the influence factorsthat affect spatial structure of urban agglomerations and industrial clusters byunderstanding the conception of industrial clusters, urban agglomerations andspatial urban agglomerations, analyze the interactive development mechanismsystem of spatial structure of urban agglomerations and industrial clusters. Thispaper analyzed how industrial clusters affect spatial structure of urbanagglomerations in two aspects: the components of industrial clusters and theinfluence factors of spatial structure of urban agglomerations. In turn, spatialstructural evolution of urban agglomerations affect industrial clusters in fouraspects: first, spatial structural evolution of urban agglomerations supportindustrial clusters with innovation technology and institution; second, spatialstructural evolution of urban agglomerations support industrial clusters withproduction factors; third, spatial structural evolution of urban agglomerations promote industrial clusters with infrastructure construction; at last, spatialstructural evolution of urban agglomerations guide the development direction ofindustrial clusters. In addition, through theoretical analysis, it analyze thecorrelation between spatial structure of urban agglomerations in central regionand industrial clusters based on quantitative analysis. The results show that thereis a sort of interactive function between spatial stricture of urban agglomerationsin central region and industrial clusters, which accord with the theoreticalexpectation. The major performances are as follow: first, industrial clustersshow highly significant effect on the spatial reconstruction of urbanagglomerations in central region in the confidence of1%, the coefficient is-0.671858; second, the regression coefficient of the spatial structure of centralurban agglomerations is0.085453, which show highly significant effect in theconfidence of10%, namely, when the dispersion of spatial structure of centralurban agglomerations is greater than agglomeration, it will promote industrialcluster. Finally, this paper put forward the polices and recommendations thatpromote the positive interactive between spatial structure of urbanagglomerations and industrial clusters by analyzing the current developmentsituation, the existing problems and the reasons, in order to realize the rise ofurban agglomerations in central region, and provide a theoretical foundation forthe balance development within regions in China. |
