In the social and economic life, there are a large number of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy multi-criteria group decision-making problems and linguistic multi-criteria group decision-making problems, that the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) can only describe whether a criterion belong to a fuzzy concept or not, and the linguistic values implicate that criterion member of the linguistic value equal to1. Therefore, it has important theoretical and practical implications to introduce the interval-valued intuitionistic linguistic sets (IVILSs) based on IVIFSs and linguistic values and do research on the multi-criteria decision-making problems under interval-valued intuitionistic linguistic.Based on the relevant theoretical literature, related conceptions about IVILSs are proposed and some research on the theory and methods of the interval-valued intuitionistic linguistic multi-criteria problems are developed. The main work and details are as follows:(1) The definition of intetval-valued intuitionistic linguistic numbers (IVILNs) and the arithmetic operations as well as their expected values are given. Score function and accuracy function as well as Hamming distance are introduced, and some interval-valued intuitionistic linguistic aggregation operators are proposed, then a new for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets is developed. At the same time, multi-criteria group decision-making methods respectively based on the defined operators and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy entropy are established.(2) A improved compound scale based on two-tuple linguistic model is developed. The certainty interval of IVILNs and some interval two-tuple linguistic aggregation operators are given, including weighted geometric averaging (IT-WGA) operator and ordered weighted geometric averaging (IT-OWG) operator. Multi-criteria group decision-making methods respectively based on improved two-tuple linguistic model and interval two-tuple linguistic are presented.(3) Some operation rules of trapezium clouds and a possibility degree formula for comparing trapezium clouds are proposed. Then several new aggregation operators are presented, including trapezium cloud weighted arithmetic averaging (TCWAA) operator, trapezium cloud ordered weighted arithmetic averaging (TCOWA) operator and trapezium cloud hybrid arithmetic (TCHA) operator. Furthermore, the operation rules of floating clouds are developed. Then, multi-criteria group decision-making methods with IVILNs respectively based on the trapezium cloud model and floating clouds model are proposed.
