Research On Hohhot Railway Bureau Capacity Expansion

With the development of the national economy, the needs of passenger and freight transportation increase rapidly, railway transport capacity has become an important factor which restricts the national economy development. Hohhot Railway Bureau is located in railway trunk line linking the Northwest and North China, Northeast. The transportation radiation area of Hohhot Railway Bureau accounts for more than half of the total economic output of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in particular, the economic of Hohhot Baotou Erdos etc in Mengxi region developed rapidly, the production and transportation of coal volume also ranks first in the country, so to study How expand the transport capacity of the Hohhot Railway Bureau has a very important practical significance.Combined with the actual situation of the Hohhot Railway Bureau in this paper, first of all, we calculated and analyzed the current ability situation of its lines and stations, especially a detailed analysis and calculation has carried out for the Baotou West Marshalling Station. And draw the main problems that currently exist:the framework of roadnet has not yet formed, the main trunk capacity is seriously inadequate, the low standard and small capacity of overall line. Secondly, this paper analyzes the need for capacity expansion of Hohhot Railway Bureau. Respectively, were analyzed from the aspects of the economic development of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the long-term development of the national energy strategy and the Hohhot Railway Bureau needs. And then we studied how to expand the ability of the Hohhot Railway Bureau from improving the Bureau of pipe network construction, the development of heavy transport, and raising the level of technical equipment, put forward detailed planning of programs and measures:planning and construction marching of heavy transportation, building of double track, electrified, automated transformation and construction strategic loading base etc. Finally, the paper study the point-line ability coordinate of the key hub of the Hohhot Railway Bureau based on the point-line ability coordinate theory, using coordination degree model to quantify the calculation of the coordinate relations and analysis detailly Baotou Pivot point-line ability coordinate, combined with the issues we raised specific point-lines ability strengthen programs.
