Study On Coordination Between Technology Progress And Economic Development In Railway

The continuous development of the railway transport industry benefit from the development of evolution of complex system by the composition of technology progress and economic development.However,in the process of actual interaction,the technology progress and economic development in railway transport,as well as the elements between them,are inevitably all kinds of discord,which seriously obstruct the healthy and orderly development of it.The discord presents as technology lagging behind or exceeding economic development.This paper draws lessons from system theory,technical economic theory,sustainable development theory,synergetic theory,as well as related research results of technology progress and economic development.Aiming at current study weaknesses and related issues on technology progress and economic development in railway,the paper is in the use of combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,method of system analysis,combination of theory and practical method to conduct in-depth exploration and research.First of all,this paper briefly describes correlation theories of technology progress and economic development in railway,as well as defining coordination,and then carries out the analysis on the coordinated manner of technology progress and economic development.Based on the above analysis,a coordination evaluation model of technology progress and economic development in railway is built.The entire model building process is divided into four steps:firstly,coordination evaluation index system is established;secondly,the weight of index is determined in the use of entropy method; thirdly,the coordination degree model is built on the basis of synergetic;finally,the relationship between the influential variables and coordination degree is done through grey relational analysis.Taking the background of the development situation of railway in 1998-2007,on the basis of technology progress and economic development data,the coordination of the entire system is evaluated.The results show that:(1) over the past decade,the coordination degrees of technology progress and economic development in railway are in stable upward trend;(2) the coordination degree of technology progress is higher than that of economic development,but the gap between them is gradually narrow;(3) on the whole,although the coordination degree of system has some fluctuations in a number of years,the overall is in upward trend;(4) the related analysis hints that the railway transportation revenue and net fixed asset amount most of the correlation degree of the coordination between technology progress and economic development,but the freight train technical speed and the number of rail workers are the least correlated with the system coordination degree;(5) the economic development is more close to the system coordination degree.This enables relevant departments with scientific basis to formulate appropriate development strategy.
