The Study On Regional Difference Of China’s Producer Service And Manufacturing Industry In Coordination Development

With economic development and as the advent of knowledge economy, servicesplay a more and more important role in the regional economy，the internal structure ofservice industry has also changed. Producer services, based on Information andCommunications Technology (ICT), taking financial services, modern logistics,information consulting, and business services as the main content, characterized byknowledge-intensive, high product value-added, and strong association betweenoutputs, has separated from the traditional services and become a fast growing pointof modern economy, become one of the research focus of domestic scholars.This paper elaborates the basic theory of the interactive development betweenproducer services and manufacturing industries, including the theory of socialdivision, value chain theory, social community theory and Symbiotic theory. Thenbuilds a comprehensive evaluation index system of the development of producerservices and manufacturing industries from four aspects: development scale,development structure, development effectiveness and development potential. Usesfactor analysis to get the comprehensive scores of the development of producerservices and manufacturing industries. Establish a coordinated function, andcalculates the coordination degrees of producer services and manufacturing of eachprovince, comparing and analyzing the regional difference of scores and degrees.Based on the empirical results, conclusions are drawn as follows:①Chineseproductive service industry and manufacturing industry in the overall comparison ofcoordination level, in2009, in31provinces and cities, coordination type is18,comparative coordination type is4; discordant type is5;very discordant type is4;②from2005to2009, the coordination degrees of producer services and manufacturingof China, Tianjin and other five provinces strongly improving, Xinjiang and fourprovinces weakly improvement,20provinces and cities less improvement;③In2009,Zhejiang and Tianjin2provinces and cities’s service industry and manufacturingindustry in high level coordination of development, Jilin and other eight provinces inmedium level coordination of development, Anhui and other six provinces inlow-level coordination, Shanghai and other five provinces and cities, The producerservices is ahead of the manufacturing industry, Shandong Province and other sixprovinces, The producer services is lagged behind the development of manufacturing industries. Finally, the paper analysis of the causes and put forward policyrecommendations of producer services and manufacturing in low-level coordination,producer services development ahead of the manufacturing and producer serviceindustry lags behind the development of the manufacturing.
