Research On The Impact Of Coordinated Development Of Manufacturing And Producer Services Industry On Regional Economy

Western countries have generally entered the modern economic society of "service leading type" since 1970s,in which the industrial structures present the characters of "two 70%"——the added value of the service sector accounted for more than 70%of the GDP,and the main component of the service industry is the human and technical capital intensive services instead of traditional services,the added value of producer services is more than 70%in service sector.Since the Reform and Open-up,China’s service industry,especially the producer services contribute more and more to the economy development,but compared with other developed countries,the development degree of China’s producer services cannot match the manufacturing industry’s demand,and unable to support and meet the needs of manufacturing enterprises effectively.Because of the "world factory"positioning and the integration into the economic globalization,there is even a phenomenon named "China’s paradox".Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the present situation of the industrial coordination of manufacturing and producer services industry,and explore the influence of the close connection on China’s economic development.This article revolves around the theme of "the impact of the coordination of China’s manufacturing and producer services industry on regional economy",researches theoretically and practically.Basing on the research of predecessors,this paper defines the concept of industrial coordination,analyzes the main content of the coordination of China’s manufacturing and producer services industry,and puts forward the mechanism of industrial coordination to regional economy,to provide a theoretical basis for further empirical analysis.Then analyzes the present situation and existing problems of China’s manufacturing and producer services industry,use the coupling coordination degree model to measure the industrial coordination level of the 30 provinces.On this foundation,this paper builds the panel data model and introduces the control variables which influence the development of regional economy,tests the existent influence of the coordination of China’s manufacturing and producer services industry on regional economy,and how it is influenced.With the theoretical analysis and empirical test,the following conclusions are drawn,from 2008 to 2013,in 30 provinces of China,although the coordination development of manufacturing and producer services industry was improving,the level is still relatively low,there are big gaps in different regions.The coordination of the two industries is conducive to economic growth,the promoting effect is more significant than traditional factors like labor and fixed capital investment.Analyzing from the subregional perspective,this influence is significant in the east of China,but not fully formed in other areas of China.According to the above conclusion,in order to promote the coordinated development of China’s manufacturing and producer services industry,and to give full play of its leading role in the economy,this paper puts forward these suggestions: Establish a correct view of industrial development and understand the relationship between manufacturing and producer services scientifically;Adjust the investment direction and change the field of investment to promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure;Build the security system of elements to strengthen the foundation of industries’coordinated development;Cultivate industry association of producer services to promote the healthy development of the industry;Plan the industrial distribution scientifically,promote the formation of industrial interactive community.
