As an important component of modern tourism, tourism shopping is a special travelling activity for the purpose of shopping and leisure. With the unceasing development of our social economy, many tourists have different choices about the traveling destinations; the shopping tour destination is preferred rather than the original integrated one. Therefore the shopping place has become the important traveling attraction, which serves as the main motive stimulates the traveling in tourist. As domestic tourism shopping keeps growing, the problems exist in delayed theoretical research and its own development come out gradually, thus restricting the growing pace of tourism shopping to a great extent. To better improve our urban tourism shopping, the researcher analyzes the development conditions of domestic tourism shopping from the basic theories and then constructs an influencing factor model to find out the major force affecting the different choices on tourism shopping destination. The research takes Yiwu city as an example, proclaims the main problems that should be noticed in developing tourism shopping with a review of providing some guidance to other cities.The research methods of this thesis include documentary analysis method, induction and deduction method, and the empirical research method. The whole thesis consists of five chapters.Chapter one provides a brief introduction of this thesis including research background, research purpose and significance, research content and methods, studies review at home and abroad, and successful experience of three cities in developing tourism shoppingChapter two is a theoretical review elaborating on the related concepts and theories firstly, and then fully analyzing the content such as travelling products and tourism shopping; finally constructing a basic theoretical framework for tourism shopping.In chapter three, Yiwu city is taken as an example to analyze the formation and development of its tourism shopping. Therefore the conditions for developing urban tourism shopping are summarized. This paper believes that if a city intends to develop tourism shopping, the regional superiority industry and the market are needed; the shopping commodity must be convenient for carrying. Besides, the city should hold a strong desire and certain economic power to develop tourism shopping. And then by analyzing the formation mechanism of its tourism shopping and SWOT, the development pattern of Yiwu’s tourism shopping is provided, in which tourism shopping is lifted by business industry prosperity. Finally, on the basis of field survey and the statistical analysis on questionnaire, the influencing factor model is built and the four main factors are presented.In chapter four, according to the model, some aspects should be improved to promote Yiwu’s tourism shopping in positive direction, such as the tourism commodities, service environment, regional cooperation and governmental guidance.The fifth chapter comes to a conclusion. Although Yiwu is more successful in domestic tourism shopping than others, it is obvious that it still has a lot of improving to do on the basis of the careful analysis. The experience and lessons also may provide a reference for other cities that attempts to promote tourism shopping based on the specialized market.
