An Analysis Of Industrial Park Pattern’s Supporting For SME Financing

Small and medium enterprises have difficulties in financing, and it is necessary for the government to support SME financing. Based on these, this paper has analyzed the enabling role of industrial park pattern for supporting SME financing.This paper has selected Zhongxin Industrial Park in Zoucheng, Shandong Province as an example. Through questionnaires and interviews, this research has surveyed and learnt about the financing situation and supporting status of SMEs in the park. This paper has studied reasons for the status quo exists, used multiple linear regression method and gray correlation analysis method to make empirical analysis for the effect of the park supporting SME financing, and explored the mechanisms of industrial park pattern’s supporting for SME financing. This paper has introduced excellent practices and innovative approaches of regional industrial park supporting SME financing and further proposed recommendations on how industrial park could play a more supportive role in order to alleviate financing difficulties and promote SME development.This paper has been divided into six chapters.Chapter Ⅰ is introduction. It has started from the research background and reviewed the relevant studies, laying the basis of the literature for the paper. Then it has described the purpose and significance of this research and introduced the research methods and the research mentality of this paper.Chapter Ⅱ is the theoretical basis of the industrial park pattern supporting for the financing of SMEs. I have analyzed the reason and the necessity of the industrial park supporting for the financing of SMEs theoretically.Chapter Ⅲ is the basic introduction of Zhongxin Industrial Park in Zoucheng, Shandong Province. This part has described the survey options, the overall information of the selected park, the survey methodology and the basic situations of the selected samples. Chapter Ⅳ has investigated and analyzed the status and the environment of SME financing of Zhongxin Industrial Park. I have investigated and learnt about the supportive policies and measures which the park management department has taken for SMEs in the park. Through the investigation of the park’s financing environment, I have learnt about SMEs’ attitude on these supportive measures in the park and also SMEs’ satisfaction on their financing environment.Chapter Ⅴ has analyzed the effectiveness of Zhongxin Industrial Park’s supporting for SMEs’ financing theoretically and empirically. Through comparative analysis of SMEs’ satisfaction on their financing environment and SMEs’ financing efficiency in and out of the park, I have studied the important role of industrial park pattern for improving financing environment and alleviating financing difficulties.Chapter Ⅵ is the concluding remarks of this paper. Based on the previous analysis, I have analyzed the mechanism of industrial park model supporting SME financing and put forward the proposals on how industrial park could play a better supportive role in SME financing. At the end of this paper, I have concluded the innovations and the limitations.This paper shows that, for the selected industrial park, the most fundamental reason of SME financing difficulties is that SMEs and banks hasn’t established a positive relations as a result of asymmetrical information. And so the important role of industrial park pattern is to coordinate the relationship between banks and SMEs; alleviate the asymmetrical information problem; take innovative and supportive measures which are suitable for the industrial park, creating a good environment for SME development.
