China's Soybean Import Trade Influence Factors And Countermeasures Research

In China, soybean is traditional crops，planting in a wide range and having a longhistory, the volume of China’s soybean import has rapid increased in recent years, inflictingheavy losses on China’s soybean industry again and again. Both normative analysis andempirical analysis are used in this article, based on China’s soybean import status,expanding import volume, excessive dependence on import, foreign enterprises threat insoybean industry chains, worsening terms of international trade, use normative analysis tostudy the cost-benefit factors, the price factors, the quality factors and the policy factorsone by one, which affecting China’s soybean import, elaborate on how these variousfactors have impact on China’s soybean import. By empirical analysis, establish theeconometric model of China’s soybean import, using statistical data to prove theconclusion, come to the main factors and its relevance of China’s soybean import.This article integrates conclusions of normative analysis and empirical analysis, putforward policy recommendations for each influence factor. In order to improve thesituation of China’s soybean import, it’s better to make soybean managementindustrialization which could reduce costs and domestic prices, improve the futures marketto fight for the discourse right of import trade, build technical barriers to trade,control demand and public the advantage of quality, use the green box policies of WTO toenhance the subsidies and support.
